These papers are a valuable overview of a lot of what we have covered. In particular the reference to Wyatt's work as a valuable source for helping us understand Thai history is noteworthy. Also of note are the valuable insights on Thai culture, such as, for example, the bullet points included at reflection paper four. Reccommended reading! Dr. Andy

Through all reflections paper of Mr. Poramatdha Chutimant 522-9923 (PhD.EL), I would have a sense of positve consolation to what are the needs indeed to outcome in the fields of educational development. The evolution point from Thai educational system by using some part of the book name “Studies in Thai history” by David K. Wyatt is surely semilar to the the educational system in Myanmar. Therefore, the monastery education; Temple is the center of education, monk is an educator still strong in the present in Myanmar for the present care.
Best regards.

When I read reflection 3, I realized that Myanmar education system is similar with Thai system. Only one is Myanmar still use teacher-center method. Monitory education still present in Myanmar especially in language learning and computer learning. Most educators are not monks. They are volunteers experience teachers and inexperience teachers. Some are not teachers. Some monastery open free tuition for poor elementary students in rural area.
